Whatever the reason (hopefully it’s #3) we’re cool with it, because now you’re here and we can tell you that Marty isn’t a who at all but rather a what.

Your work looks award winning, but the ideas, strategy and insights behind them are even more praiseworthy. You make your writing partner’s words look even better and give experience designers a visual edge. Your lucky numbers are 17, 18 and 1,006.
You can come up with killer concepts and then bring them to life with great writing on everything from T-shirts to tweets to heart-stirring manifestos. While your words are highly crafted, the ideas, strategy and insights behind them are what really stand out. You take your art director’s visuals to another level and help experience designers find the words to make their vision visionary. The card you picked was the 7 of diamonds.
As an experience designer, you love tackling the tough problems. You are a storyteller with empathy for your audience. You thrive when collaborating with a team to turn concepts and ideas into products and experiences that people love. Your toolkit is scrappy and varied, from sketching to making usable prototypes. You’re probably a Virgo. But don’t have to be.
You have a passion for animation. You can prototype and solve challenging design problems and execute functional, compelling and thoughtful animated visual narratives. You have experience with 3D programs, design, and motion and might even be proficient in video, music, sound and visual effects programs. You get inspired by both beautiful photos and videos as much as you do by weirdo meme accounts on Instagram. And when Vine went away you were legitimately bummed out for a little while but probably still got over it pretty quickly. It’s ok. We were too.
You see something cool in a sci-fi movie and then figure out how to do it in real life, but better. So, you may be the next Elon Musk. But, before you go off saving the world and making billions, how about spending some time honing your design taste and code-writing skills, and dreaming bigger dreams at Martin? After all, it’s where Elon Musk got started. Wait, we’re being told that’s not true at all.

You’ve got a tent, right? Just kidding. But seriously housing is on you to both find and pay for. Fortunately, this a college town full of apartments with many rooms available. Yes, some of those rooms may have tapestries on their walls but we’re confident you can find something livable that fits your budget.
Company cars! Just kidding, again. Wow, this is easy. Richmond has a bus system and we have car parking near the agency. Also, we have bike parking right at the agency and if you ride a hoverboard that’s cool, too, and we respect it.
Yup. And we’ve got GWAR to thank for all of it.
